December Flowers - Holly and Narcissus

After a bit of a break, we're getting back to having Guest Designers on the      Daring Cardmakers
So this week we're thrilled to announce that the Fabulous
 Gez
will be with us from now till the end of the January.
That is fantastic news. Welcome Gez!
Now, as it is a first day of the month we have our traditional
Flower of the month dare.
December is associated with two flowers :
Holly and Narcissus
to celebrate Christmas Hanukkah and New Year's Eve
I went for Holly and here is the translation :

Holly has always been said to protect against evil. Belief in the strength of
holly comes from the fact that its evergreen leaves and
winter berries were linked with eternal life.A piece of holly in the
pocket will protect against lightning.

My card:

Have a wonderful weekend!
