For My Sister

Last week I send a little parcel to my sister. I miss her so much! She is my best friend, my adviser, my everything! I love her so much.

I had great fun playing with the cotton yarns!

Little close up on the back.

Have a nice Wednesday!

December Colours

Hello! Today I want to share my card for the Daring Cardmakers challenge.

I remember when I was little my mum bought a huge pack of sunflower seeds every December. We built a wooden bird house, filled it with the seeds and hung it on a tree by our living room. Each day we'd wait by the window for cute blue-tits to come.
When I came across this picture it refreshed my memory. The cosiness of our warm home, a winter wonderland with snow outside and watching for blue-tits!
Now! I dare you to create a card with these peaceful colours.

Sky Blue, Agate Blue, Greenish Gray, Canary Yellow and Tan

And here is my card :

|This card is full of bits and pieces to create an atmosphere from my childhood memory.

I stitched around yellow panel, matt with grey polka dot paper on the card front.
hand stitched 'of Christmas' sentiment on the brown Crate Paper Story Teller tag and embellished with decorative paper tape.

Knitted small panel from cream yarn, layered on die cut circles from white and craft cardstock.

Decorated with flock flourishes. I sprayed Caribbean Blue Glimmer Mist on to white chalk seam binding to create scrunchy vintage look of my bow flower.
Did you spot my blue tit bird? It's from Tea House Bridge resin section. I used Letraset Promarkers to add yellow and grey colours for the perfect blue tit look.

Have a nice and cosy Friday!

For Dad

I am enjoying my cup of coffee, waiting for the sunshine, as they promised us on the weather forecast  and blogging you my newest card. It's funny, I discovered that I created more cards for girls only couple  for the boys! So here is one for my Dad!

I embossed and inked cream cardstock for the background.

Hand cutted flower petals from white cardstock, ink the edges with brown ink and couloured with yellow Letraset Promarker.
You will never quess where this huge blue fabric button comes from. It's from my hubby's parents old sofa! :0)  What a button journey! :0)

And white foam letters for sentiment.

Have a lovely afternoon!

Going For Gold

I have a new card to share today. It's for Daring Cardmakers challenge set up by Leo

Going for gold

I'd like you to use just metallic gold and white to create your card. Think of all the different gold materials you could use, gold paint, gold ink, gold glitter, gold leaf, anything you can think of, so long as it's gold!

                                                                   Here is my card :

I decided to use my gold wired ribbon.

The tine white luggage tag was really handy. I inked the edges and stamped 'Joy' sentiment with black ink.

I layered double bow on muslin fabric and adhered on two white snowflakes decorations. For bow center I've chosen white threaded button.

Have a nice time and thanks for coming!
