Ribbon Reel Challenge #4

Welcome to Ribbon Reel Challenge # 4. This time with talented Pauline. She came up with the idea to create a card or project using the inspiration photo plus colours Blue, Kraft, Black and Grey/Silver (with the added option to make a Father's Day/ masculine card).

New Baby

A baby is cuddles and tickles on toes,
The sweet scent of powder, a kiss on the nose.
A baby is teddy bears, rattles, powder, and pins,
Meals at midnight, giggles, and grins.

This card is for one very special couple and their first new baby arrival :  


I pleated the ribbon for the milky illusion :0) and added some shabby details 

Here is my little confession : this is the first time what I've used the acetate

Father Christmas

It's Daring Cardmakers Friday again and this time super talented  Jo  is our host. She has chosen Father Christmas as the theme. That is fantastic because I love Christmas cards! There are so many possibilities and ideas in my head :0) My Christmas picture is every time connected with magic of snow and calmness, festive and meeting my dearest family. What about yours?

 "Ho ho ho  Meeeeerry Christmas" :0) from my Father Christmas :


 I used  felt, cardstock, circle and oval punch for Santa. Some stitches for his mouth. Glitter glue on the nose and pom poms ( I stitched 3 together ) for the hat.

Rub ons with "Ho Ho Ho" sentiment on the mounting pads for dimension

 Used Material :

Cream card for the base, Red and white cardstock, MME + Crate Paper + K&Co (Assorted Tags paper), Bo Bunny rub ons, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, Woodware circle and oval punch, Corner chomper, Paper crimper, Lace, Cotton cord, Glitter glue, Mini pom poms, Mounting pads, Threads, Ink pads.

Beep Beep

For celebration and honoring our fathers I've made some quick card ... of course with a beep beep on :0)

Roses and Honeysuckle

This week are Daring Cardmakers returning to their First Friday of the Month series of Flower challenges. The flowers for June are the Roses and Honeysuckle. I went for the pink and white roses.

In flower language roses represent :
white - eternal love, silence or innocence, wistfulness, virtue, purity and secrecy
pink - grace
and the Honeysuckle represent devoted affection, bonds of love

The Ribbon Reel Challenge # 3

 I' ve used the wired seam binding to create the flower and the large brad attached on the black button for the flower center

I handmade the fabric flower and I used (recycled) white silk paper for the skirt
