Hi everyone! It's Friday and long bank holiday weekend ahead :0) Daring Cardmakers have another fabulous dare on.This week for first time with 

Fran 

  'Feeling Krafty'

is her fantastic theme. 

There is a catch though - you must use 3 natural items not just a bit of kraft card!

 I loved to create my card . Here is natural material what I used :

Tiny acorns from our local park :0)

Wooden squares - cuts from our window blinds ( we had to cut them for perfect fit )

Cotton belt fabric

 Heavy duty juta twine

Here is my creation :

Natural items are for me always associated with earth colours.

I adhered the acorns using a heating gun. What a pretty row :0)

Layered cotton fabrics, pink lace and heavy juta twine embellished with the paper flower and heart shape button

I came up with the idea to use some wood in my card. I think everybody knows wooden window blinds. I used the cuts from our little DIY cutting job, it was pity to threw them out :0)

And I need to tell you one exciting news. We have a new Ribbon Reel DT member very talented

My card :

I went for the heart shape and some unique flower top

Cut out two hearts. Distress the edges. Layered and stitched them together. Then adhere the fabric flower embellished with the shiny glass button

For the background I used Pink Paislee and MME paper with fabulous satin pleat plum ribbon, crochet lace and the leftover from the fabric flower

I found perfectly matching Glitz rub - on. Even the name is matching 'Crazy Plum' :0) and tied two cute bows above the heart

Hello! Here I am after holidays. Fresh, relaxed and ready for this week       
 Daring Cardmakers challenge

' Inspired By Banksy '

So now is your chance to dig out those stencils, use that paint, throw in a few ironic sayings and give your card some 'street life'

I admire Mr. Banksy's satirical street artwork . So I made two cards :

Chicago Pram  - original by Banksy

Just Arrived - by me

I printed Chicago pram  image on to blue stripe Craftworkcards paper

Layered patterned papers panels embellished with the vintage lace and heavy duty twine.
The tag was very easy to made with Letraset Promarkers I added wall structure and graffiti sentiment.

Finally I embellished tag with the handmade crochet flower; and tea paper rose for softness. As I was digging in my ribbon draws I found some light blue cotton trim so I thought it is just perfect to make a little bow for my tag.

And my reflection of the recent London street situation

I printed Banksy rioter image on the pink stripe Vintage rose paper, coloured his bouquet of flowers and adhered woodware assorted buttons. No stitches no ink -  I wanted simplicity :0)

Crochet vintage lace with tied cotton cord. I was playing with sentiment. First I wrote WELCOME then I adhered Papermania foam letter stickers.

Today we have Monday another fabulous and exciting Ribbon Reel Challenge. This time with Clare. Look at that fantastic colour combination! I can't help myself I am in love with those colours :0)

Poppies and Gladioli

Welcome to our Daring Cardmakers challenge. As it is the first Friday of the month we continue with our flower theme. August is associated with Poppies and Gladioli. In flower language red Poppy means pleasure and extravaganze. Gladioli sincerity and strenght of character.

Here is my card :

 Red Poppy is associated in England with Remembrance Day. Traditionaly we wear red Poppy flower in memory to those who sacrificed their lifes for us  in wars. 

I used red silk paper to create red Poppy flower. Black die cut circle with distress edge and embellished with some stiches and large black fabric button (from my mum) fot the flower centre.

 Layers of patterned papers - Crate Paper, Echo Park, Cosmo Cricket and white cake doily. Hand stitched for smooth edge :0)

 Baby pink seam binding is fabulous match with heavy duty juta twine. For the yummy detail touch I adhered yellow mini rose on the knot 

I am on my summer holidays driving thru the old continent :0) The weather is beautiful hot and sunny. I wish you were here with me :0)

Cute As a Button

Hello my dear friends and welcome to the Friday's Daring Cardmakers challenge. This time first time ever with our new talented teamie  

Sharon . 

 She would like us to create card using buttons not just as an added embellishment, but button in main feature of our card.

Here are some inspirations for you from the daring Cardmakers Design Team.

 And here is my card :

  

 I went for the shabby look. Ribbons are girls cardmakers' best friends :0)

 I printed out text on cream cardstock and cut it out the tag,  sew it three little buttons and hang it on the satin ribbon. I love to use cotton cord for hanging :0)

Here is some close detail. When I was in John Lewis I discovered vintage summer cake doilies, you can also find them here. It looks fantastic for the layered background.

Sheer roses and satin ribbon what a fabulous combination! Little hint of  Mini cream roses for the detail touch.

The Ribbon reel Challenge #7

Good morning everybody!  It's Monday. Did you have a nice relaxing weekend? I am getting ready for my holidays. So I was checking my wardrobe to pack my suitcase. We leaving on Friday :0) 

Anyway I found some time for crafting. Welcome to The Ribbon Reel Challenge #7.

She would like us to create a card inspired by the photo using White or Cream, Aqua, Pink and Flower with Ribbon and/or Lace.

 I love to use flowers for shabby and romantic look.   
On this card I used Pink Gardenia Blossom and White Hybrid Tea Rose

I've been playing with the idea to make my own artisan fimo frame for such a long time. So here is my little treasure :0) I love how it came up on this card.

I tied up Pink Button Twine and adhered the white heart shape button embellished with the cream pearl sticker on the knot and centered Melissa Frances Vintage transfer above it.

May Arts Natural Crochet Lace with Ivory Twill and fabulous Light Blue Velvet are all from The Ribbon Reel
and at the end I adhered Prima Marketing Say It In Pearls swirl.
