Fun with Pictograms

This week was my turn to set up dare for The Daring Cardmakers :

FUN WITH PICTOGRAMS

With the  London Olympic games knocking on the door I came up with the idea to  create cards using pictograms, icons or silhouette signs. Choose sport, travel, washing or some other basic signs, print them out -  or if you prefer use die cuts, punches etc

This time of the year is really special. Everybody is taking break for summer holidays - especially children.

We had create some card with 

Lace and Pearls 

for The Daring Cardmakers this time with Keilly.

I went for the vintage 'Thank You' card for our reception teachers. 

Teachers are one of the greatest people whom you can across in your life.

The Ribbon Reel Challenge #32

We have some wonderfully talented ladies that play along with our challenges each fortnight and I am so pleased to finally share some news with you all. Each month we will be inviting a Guest Designer to join our little ribbon team. 

Our Guest Designer this month is the creative Michelle Bala. Michelle is a regular here at our challenges and the team are so happy that she'll be joining us this month!!

July's Colour Combo Challenge

The royal celebrations may be just a distant memory, but we're still in party mode.

July is here! Summer and HOLIDAYS!

Daring Cardmakers  are celebrating with July Colour Combo.

This Friday Rein has picked inspirational photo for us.

With all eyes on travelling this photo associated sea and pebbles to me.

I add a bit of yellow and hint of pink and contrast black to create a really summery mood 

some close ups 

I think I have addiction to the layering :0)

Hello Monday! I've got some cards to share with you today. I am delighted to welcome another Ribbon Reel Challenge this time #31.

Our theme was to create a card using colours in the photo, tea elements, flowers plus lace or ribbon.

Here is my card :

The Tea Party

I had a little tea party

This afternoon at three.

'Twas very small-

Three guest in all-

Just I, myself and me.

Myself ate all the sandwiches,

While I drank up the tea;

'Twas also I who ate the pie
