Ooh La La and Wuderbar !

Hello, It's Friday! Hooray :0) Well, this weeks Daring Cardmaker dare is a little bit retro. As it is the
European Day of Languages today.
Lythan is our theme maker :0) and she would like us to create a card to feature a foreign language.
I wanted to create some card in French but there was a request from my hubby Boris to create it in my mother language - Slovak.

 Here is my card :

Translation : Pre Teba means For You

have a wonderful  and blessed Friday in all languages

Used material :

Cream card base, Pink Paislee + OA + MME patterned papers, Papermania letter stickers, Ribbon + Laces from my stash, Martha Stewart doily border punch, Felt, Hand crochet flower, Paper roses, Prima pearls and crystals, Washi tape, Thread and Ink pad

Green Eggs and Ham

Can you recognise these words?

So all we could do was to
Sit!
Sit!
Sit!
Sit!
And we did not like it.
 Not one little bit?

Yes you are right there are written by Dr. Suess.
This week it's Jo's turn at The Daring Cardmakers and she would like us to see Dr. Seuss inspired cards - whether they feature Green Eggs and Ham, The inhabitants of Whoville, The Cat in the Hat or are inspired by the colours, font or rhyming phrases.

Here is my creation :

I created Cat in the Hat card

It's easy to print Cat in the Hat image on the Graphics Fairy music patterned paper

Don't be scarred to use doily. It is perfect structure paper! I have used it like a background for my flower corner :0) then I embellished left side layered panels with the baker's twine and red mosaic stones.

Hand stitched in two colours : white and blue. Little tip for you : if you got scallop edge paper, don't adhere the edges you can bend them like I did.

Wishing you happy crafting and see you soon.

Used Material :

 Bazzill Basics Kraft, Murano white, MME Lost and Found; OA patterned papers;
Vintage music sheet from The Graphics Fairy; Cat in The Hat printable image from the seussville.com;
Letter stickers; Route Scenic rub - on; Paper doily; Baker's twine from The Ribbon Reel; Paper flowers; Papermania mozaic stones; Ink pads and threads

... and my card :

This card was created from all  the snips found on my working table with one big exception :
All those fabulous ribbons, laces and the paper rose are from The Ribbon Reel .
Beautiful!

I layered strips of assorted patterned papers for background adhered on the peppermint cardstock card

White is really beautiful match with baby blue. I love this combination!

And some eye catchy sentiment. Would do you think? Am I right? I went for the black letter stickers.

Have a blessing afternoon !

(What's the Story) Morning Glory . . .

We starting September one of my favourite month of the year. Not only  I was born in September :0) but most of all because I love autumn nature. All those fabulous colours!

Well, now on to the Daring Cardmakers this week's challenge.
It's the first dare of the month so you right about the flower theme :0)

 Asters and Morning Glory

 are associated with September.

I went for Asters. In flower language for
daintiness, love, from Greek word for "star." Asters are believed to have healing properties.

Don't forget to pop to Daring Cardmakers to see all fabulous DT creations.
I was playing with structures and vintage colours.

MME Lost and Found  together with Ooh La La For Her Accessory Sheet are my patterned background papers

I think the best rub ons ever made are from Melissa Frances :0) Here is my 'thanks' sentiment rubed on the Label Four nestie and inked with the Versa Color

Asters are hand fringed and layered die cut circles embellished with the brown buttons for the centres and adhered on the organza fabric petals

This card is also for my Boris who took care about me last week while I had really bad chest infection.
I am fully recovered and ready for crafting :0)
Hope that you are all having fantastic and loving weekend.
 See you soon
