STEAMPUNK

This week was themed The Daring Cardmakers which I found really challenging. Our dare was to design  a " steampunk " card . It is all about 19th century all the steam and clockwork machines, inventions, balloons and metal things. For me this period is very fascinating. I like vintage clocks. Our Local Antique shop has a special room devoted to all kind of vintage clocks. Every time I stand in the middle of this room  I  can listen  the  lovely  music  that   transfer me to the past times.

Reeling in the Ribbon

Little Walking Wonders

Somebody once said : " Always wear expensive shoes. People notice. " Well ... I was in the high street shops.  Boots, heels, sandals, ballerinas... Oooh, boy... ! I visited children department as well,  for some new inspirations.                                        Here is one of them :

Flowers for February

This week  Daring Cardmakers challenge is to make a card associated with the month of February. February's flowers are the Violet and the Primrose. The colours associated with them are shades of Violet, Sky Blue and Yellow and the traditional meanings of the flowers are Modesty, Faithfulness, Virtue and Young Love.

Two little babies

Yes, in our family are twins! My sister in low has delivered two little and very cute baby girls. God bless them! And this is a very special card I made for them:
