No Scissors Please

Hello. I was baking today! So while it's my cheese cake sitting on the kitchen top and cooling down I can spent some time with you blogging :0) I have some nice summer card for you today.
Miri from Daring Cardmakers set up really lovely dare for us this week.
She asked us to follow one simple rule :
No Scissors Please !
Decorate a card blank without using scissors or a paper cutter/guillotine. However, you may use your die cutting machine to add labels/shapes etc.

Here is my card :

Instead of cutting I was tearing!

First I stamped stripes on the craft cardstock with brown ink, then I tore off main panel and stamped sentiment on the top, took two light blue wide stripes and tore to sea waves.

Turned on my sewing machine and stitched around with black thread. Die cut sailing boat from 3 different cardstocks - embossed white, light blue and red.  Finished with grey bow embellished with twine and little button.

Have a lovely time full of sunshine!
