Marie Antoinette

Hello everyone and welcome to another Daring Cardmakers friaday challenge this time with Sharon.
I want to see your Vintage Parisian/Palace of Versailles creations as this week's theme is
Marie Antoinette
There are lots of possibilities with this theme - your card doesn't necessarily have to feature the Queen herself, but can be in a Baroque/Palace of Versailles style, or something inspired by the fantastic gowns and wigs she wore. Or, you could even opt for a 'let them eat cake' inspired card (even though she apparently never actually said that!)

Here is my design:

A gown for little princess :0) I went for pink (girl ) and blue ( royal) colour combo
To create something special I inserted lace between the pink tissue paper.
My advice : don't throw away tissue paper! You can reuse it for your projects and designs.

These cotton buttons are from Tea House Bridge
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Portabello Road 'Party' Celebrate and 'Family' First Class paper are for the background and MME Quite Contrary Summer paper is for the gown top.
I painted Melissa Frances crown embellie with acrylic paint

I am finishing with a quote from Marie Antoinette :

Marie Antoinette : "This is ridiculous."
Comtesse de Noailles : "This, Madame, is Versailles."

Have a fantastic and crafty Friday! Looking forward to seeing your cards on DCM.

Used Material :

Kraft cardstock, MME Lost&Found patterned paper, Tissue paper, Laces, Velvet ribbon, Saten ribbon, Buttons, Maya Road kraft tag, Paper roses, Melissa Frances emblellishments, Papermania pearl brad, Mounting foam tape, Thread, Ink pads
