July Flowers

Welcome to the Friday Daring cardmakers challenge.  First of all we'd like like to introduce you to Angela
who is our fabulous new Guest Designer for the month of July.
Our second piece of news is that we have a wonderful prize donated by our sponsor this week: online store Crimson Cloud to offer one lucky winner this week.

Pop to The Daring Cardmakers to see what is the prize you could win and what are the rules to be followed.

Now on to this week's challenge

As this is the first Friday of the month our dare is to create card with the flowers associated with the month of July
the Larkspur and the Water Lily

Here is my creation:

I went for the Water Lily for purity of heart in flower language.

First I made three panels, two of them have stitches around. The leaf is from core'dination cardstock.

Bakers twine for touch of red and rub - ons for the sentiment.

Old page from the book. I tore off chapter seven because of the July :0). Than I stitched and layered petals and used letraset for flower centre. Just thinking I should give you a tutorial  in my next post.

Used Material:

Bazzill and Core'dination cardstock; October Afternoon,Melissa Frances patterned papers and one page from some old book; Scenic Route Paper and Daisyd's rub-ons; Bakers twine (from the Ribbon Reel); Fabric (for the flower); Papermania Dew drops; Letraset promarker; Marvy 1122 pen; Thread
