Wishi Washi

Hello everyone! I am a bit late for this week Daring Cardmakers dare.

It was Jo's  turn to set up dare for us :

"This week it's Jo here with a challenge, which is;
Wishi Washi

I would like you this week to make a card using Washi or Deco Tape, you can use it to create a background, an embellishment or just use it as an accent.

If you don't have any - you can still join in by making your own washi style tape - use double sided tape and tissue paper or printed tracing paper or vellum as an alternative. "

I made two cards :

Used Material :
Cream cardstock, Crate Paper, MME patterned papers, MME frame, Seam binding, Lace, Buttons, American Craft letter stickers, Melissa Frances transfer, Washi tape, Linen fabric, Thread, Mounting pads and ink
Second card was made shortly after my visit in The Royal Academy of Arts - David Hokney's exhibition.
And here is my creation :

Anything simple always interests me.
(David Hockney)

Have the most wonderful Monday !

 Used Material :
White, yellow, purple and blue cardstock, Washi tapes, X - cut die cuts, Heart sticker, Rub-on, Blue Acrylic paint, Threads

  1. Amazing cards! The first one is brilliant and vibrant with the gathered ribbon and bold colours and the second is just perfect - I love the rainbow and the little clouds finish it off beautifully.
